Olivia Canham
Sustainability Manager, Volvo Car UK

Olivia Canham is a sustainability leader driving change in the luxury fashion and automotive sectors. As Sustainability Manager at Volvo Car UK, she leads the UK strategy on climate, circular economy, and responsible business, embedding sustainability into everyday decisions. Named in edie’s 30 Under 30 Class of 2024, Olivia champions electrification, sustainable innovation, and a business ethos where profit and planet go hand in hand.

Lewe Goldmann
Supply Chain and Operations Director, Cloud Nine

Throughout his employment at Kuehne & Nagel, Wayfair and High Street TV, Lewe has managed a number of complex supply chains and worked with multiple global freight forwarders, 3PL’s and B2B as well as B2C delivery companies in the UK and across Europe.

In his current role. Lewe’s responsibility and geographical reach have expanded and he oversees and manages the global supply chain as well as product development, compliance, returns and customer service. Further, Lewe also leads on sustainability related initiatives, such as the industry’s first hair tool recycling scheme as well as warranty claim repair process.

Simon King
Senior Partner, edenseven ltd

Simon is Senior Partner at edenseven, leading on Supply Chain, ESG & Transport.  He is an experienced Sustainability & Supply Chain senior leader, repositioning Mitie as an ESG high performer and launching Plan Zero which saved 353,000 tonnes of carbon for clients and contributed to a 50% increase in share price since launch (compared to a 15% FTSE250 average). Simon also rolled out the largest pure electric vehicle fleet in the UK, now with over 6,000 EVs on the road.

Prior to this Simon was a Global Chief Procurement Officer, working for organisations including Tata Group and Coca-Cola managing in excess of $1.5 billion of spend with total savings of $500 million in 10 years. Simon lives in the New Forest on the south coast of the UK with his wife. He has two adult children, a Cocker Spaniel called Teddy, and is a keen sailor.

John Trenchard
Vice President Sustainable International Supply Chains, DP World Europe

John joined DP World in February 2021 after returning to the UK following an international career in the global logistics industry with P&O Containers, P&O Nedlloyd, Maersk and APM Terminals.

Over the last 20 years he has lived and worked in a variety of international supply chain roles in the Netherlands, Denmark, Chile, China and the United States.

In his current role, John is responsible for developing business across the maritime, port and inland transport modes and has a keen interest in accelerating the journey towards more sustainable international logistics.

Christina Wolger
Head of Procurement, Siemens

Christina Wolger is Head of Procurement at Siemens Congleton, where she leads the transformation of procurement into a strategic enabler of sustainability and innovation. Aligned with Siemens’ DEGREE framework, Christina drives initiatives that embed decarbonization, digitalization, and ethical sourcing across the supply chain.

As an active member of Siemens UK’s sustainability community, she equips her team with future-ready skills to navigate complexity and deliver long-term value. Christina brings a bold and practical perspective to the evolving role of procurement—where purpose meets performance, and sustainability is embedded as a core business imperative.

Tharsis Teoh
Senior Technical Manager, Smart Freight Centre

Tharsis Teoh (Dr.-Ing) holds a MSc. in Transport & Logistics and a PhD on the topic of electrification and charging strategies for city logistics. He has worked in academia (TU Delft) and as a consultant on the topics of transport policy and decarbonization. In his current role at Smart Freight Centre, he leads the Fleet Electrification Coalition (FEC) Knowledge Services, which advises logistics actors how to transition towards using electric medium and heavy-duty vehicles – individually and collaboratively. He is the author of several reports on fleet electrification touching upon market barriers, research and innovation opportunities, and carrier engagement strategies. He has published and conducts training on EV emissions accounting, according to the ISO 14083, and financial impact assessment of the transition.

Geoff Tomlinson
Managing Director, FSEW

Managing Director and Founder Geoff founded FSEW in July 2002 and has an extensive background in freight forwarding with over 32 years experience. 

Geoff is committed to leading the way in the freight industry with regards to reducing carbon emissions. “As a business owner involved in road transport, and as a father of two small children, I have a huge opportunity and an obligtion to make a positive impact on our environment and I’m enormously excited at the prospect of leading the switch to zero-emissions transport.”

Ben Kattenhorn
CEO, Engine Carbon Clean

Ben has expertise in managing and working with start-up companies in the technology, cryptocurrency, property, fintech and the natural resource industry. Ben assists these start-ups through implementating operational structures, raising seed capital and introducing strategic partnerships. 

To date Ben has worked and continues to work with both public and private companies. He is currently the CEO of a Global IR and Private Investment Firm based in the UK.

Jamie Shaw
Global Sustainability Director, Karnndean Designflooring

Jamie has over 20 years’ experience in various sustainability roles for a very diverse set of organisations. These include a guided weapons company, a Formula 1 team, design and engineering in the built environment, the premium luxury vehicle sector with Jaguar Land Rover, rail infrastructure, and now flooring with Karndean.

Jamie has enjoyed the challenge of driving sustainability up the agenda at each organization, often delivering significant benefits and value against the flow and beyond expectations. Experiences include researching and implementing unique and innovative solutions such as waterless cleaning, industry firsts for circular solutions for complex materials, embedding sustainability in the design process, and generating £ millions in new revenue streams through a purpose driven sustainability approach.

In addition to his role with Karndean, Jamie is also a tutor for the Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership sharing his knowledge, experiences, and expertise with students all over the world who are starting to embed sustainability into their roles.

Richard Gane
Director Customer Solutions, Ligentia

Richard leads in global supply chain strategy, sustainability, logistics transformation and customer solutions diving deep into the world of supply chains that not only drive efficiency but also embrace sustainability.

Rachael Mcvey
Head of Supply Chain Planning ex Heineken/ Nestle

Rachael is an experienced supply chain leader with a strong track record in driving sustainable operations across global FMCG brands including Heineken, Nestlé, Clorox, and Coca-Cola. Her work spans digital transformation, S&OP, and emissions-reducing logistics strategies. A passionate advocate for sustainability, equity and social mobility, Rachael is a founding member of Women in Logistics and The 93% Club. She lives in South West London with her family and actively supports her local community through volunteering and low-impact living.

Peter Livey
Managing Director, HMM

Peter Livey FCILT MCIEX is currently Managing Director (Great Britain) at “HMM (Europe) Ltd.” and ‘Global Sustainability Ambassador’ for HMM. 

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport with more than 30 years’ experience in global to local logistics solutions, he has a deep knowledge of liner shipping, international logistics, global supply chains and sustainable business practices.

For many years Peter has represented HMM in a variety of sustainability initiatives, most notably ‘Clean Cargo’, a global initiative which enables B2B collaboration dedicated to integrating environmentally and socially responsible business principles into the maritime supply chain.

Peter is also an ordained CofE priest, serving as a ‘Self Supporting Minister’ at Christ Church in Felixstowe (UK) and is director of a couple of charities.

Chris Ashley
Head of Policy – Environment & Vehicles, RHA

Chris joined the RHA in September 2019 to lead its environment policy work. He is actively engaged in shaping the Net Zero agenda to deliver sustainable outcomes for commercial vehicle operators and, in particular, small businesses.

Previously, he was a Civil Servant for 18 years – predominantly at the Home Office developing policies to reduce offending by heroin and cocaine addicts and to address domestic abuse. Together with a family background in haulage, he brings extensive experience and insight into how central and local government decision-making, policy-making and Parliament works at the highest levels.

Bryan Smith
Senior Programme & Project Manager, ex Amazon

Bryan worked at Amazon Europe for +25 years with roles across European supply-chain, transportation and logistics, and a passion for customers.

During his time, invented and scaled multiple collaborative European programs working together with logistic partners to understand the opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency and sustainability. Invented and launched the EU inbound transportation network removing millions of truck-miles. Developed and scaled fulfilment from 3PLs, “pop-ups”, vendors and factories reducing product touches and shipping direct to customers with cost and sustainability benefits.

 A long-standing advocate for rail freight and logistic facilities selected for their direct or nearby rail connectivity supporting efficient, scalable and sustainable intermodal transportation between ports, warehouses and for customers.

Caroline Barber
CEO, Transaid

Caroline has been involved with Transaid for more than 18 years. Prior to this role, she was head of programmes for six years.

Caroline has also worked in Zambia as a Project Manager for Transaid’s Professional Driver Training Project and has also undertaken work for Transaid in Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Madagascar, South Africa, Nigeria and Sri Lanka.

Caroline joined Transaid from Wincanton, a leading supply chain and logistics company and Transaid corporate partner, where she previously held roles in project management and business development. Caroline was appointed CEO of Transaid on the 1st August 2018.

James Watts
Managing Director, Port Express

Starting his career as a container transport planner, James transitioned into customer service and business development, before progressing into management roles. His hands on experience across various aspects of the supply chain has given him an invaluable understanding of the complexities and challenges within the industry.

As Managing Director of Port Express, a leading UK container haulier specialising in inland transport solutions, James has been instrumental in developing operational improvements, implementing telematics for fuel efficiency and spearheading sustainable initiatives across its HGV fleet including introducing alternative fuels and understanding how tyres impact performance. A firm believer in continuous improvement and collaboration, James is actively engaged in industry discussions on the future of sustainable logistics, digitalisation and driver welfare.

Max Lytle
CEO, FuelActive

Max completed 19 years in the British Army as a Helicopter pilot, including over 4 years on operations in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan.  

Max joined JCB in 2013, establishing Global Major Accounts before taking responsibility for N Europe, Middle East & Russia.  Max’s last role was as Regional Director, SE Asia, based in Singapore, with responsibility for 13 countries & 16 Distributers.

Max Lytle joined FuelActive as Chief Commercial Officer in Nov 2020 and took over as Chief Executive Officer in January 2024. Married with two children he lives in Rutland, UK.

Kelly Hobson is an experienced business leader and the founder of Shape Tomorrow, a consultancy dedicated to helping businesses navigate change while balancing commercial success with environmental responsibility. Beyond her consultancy work, Kelly is committed to making a difference.
